True Colors of Stone

03 Apr True Colors of Stone

When choosing granite stone for your indoor project such as a kitchen countertop, it is important that you look at it in the right lighting.  So many times people have said to us that the granite they bought elsewhere didn’t look the same when it was installed.

Some distributors have their granite slabs out in the open. It is difficult to perceive the actual stone’s color  when the slab is in bright sunshine or on a cloudy day. Outside the colors can tend to get washed out. Even when you look at the same type of stone indoors under different types of lighting it looks very different.  If at all possible, try to view the slab in indoor lighting similar to how you’ll see it in your home.

Our large indoor showroom with proper lighting shows our customers the stone’s true colors. That way you know what your stone will look actually like when your kitchen countertop is installed and you won’t be unpleasantly surprised when your project is completed.

Granite is a prestige material, used in projects to produce impressions of elegance and quality.  Besides the familiar use of granite for bath and kitchen countertops and backsplashes, granite can be used for flooring and walls, exterior building stone and facing, and pavers and street curbing.

Our expert craftsmen will be able to create beautiful designs with granite and turn any project into a work of art.
